The Dennis G. Roach Fairway to Honor military charity golf tournament is one of the most anticipated golf tournaments in eastern North Carolina every year. Organized by the North Carolina Soldiers and Airmen Assistance Fund (SAAF-NC) at Bentwinds Golf and Country Club in Fuquay-Varina, NC, Fairway to Honor has become a popular annual tradition for golf aficionados and novices alike.

Dennis G. Roach

Dennis G. Roach served as Executive Director of SAAF-NC from 2008 to 2022. During his tenure, he organized the first charity golf tournament event in 2012 and built the relationship with the North Carolina Petroleum and Convenience Store Marketers (NCPCM), which have been incredibly supportive of the SAAF-NC over the years.

Our board of directors named the Fairway to Honor golf tournament for Dennis G. Roach to honor his dedication, passion for service, and leadership in growing SAAF-NC into an organization capable of making such a positive impact on the lives of North Carolina Guardsmen.
